1.Wrap potatoes in two layers of foil. Place potatoes in hot coals; cook, turning occasionally, about 40 minutes or until tender. Potatoes can also be place in oven heated to 200°C/390°F for approximately 40 minutes.
2.Meanwhile, heat oil in large camp oven; cook sausages, stirring, until browned. Add onion, garlic and chilli; cook, stirring, until onion softens.
3.Add pasta sauce, beer, stock, sugar and beans. cook, covered, about 30 minutes.
4.Serve stew with potatoes; sprinkle with parsley.
