Method
1.Preheat oven to 180C. Lightly grease an 18 x 28cm slice pan. Line base and sides with baking paper.
2.In a bowl, combine flour, sugar and coconut. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients. Add melted butter, blending well until combined.
3.Press mixture firmly into prepared pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly browned. Cool.
4.Combine extra butter, condensed milk and syrup in a medium saucepan. Stir over low heat until smooth. Pour over base. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden. Cool.
5.Place chocolate and oil in a heatproof bowl. Stir over a saucepan of simmering water for 4-5 minutes until melted and smooth. Spread evenly over slice.
6.Chill until set. Cut into squares. Store in an airtight container.
Use a hot, sharp knife to cut slice into squares.
