1.Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced). Place 4 x 1 1/2-cup capacity shallow ovenproof dishes on an oven tray.
2.Cook pasta following packet instructions, adding cauliflower 5 minutes before end of cooking time. Drain well, and set aside.
3.Meanwhile, to make sauce: melt butter in a medium-size saucepan on high heat. Add flour and cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly. Return to heat. Cook, stirring, until sauce boils. Simmer for 3 minutes. Add cheese and thyme, stir through. Season to taste.
4.Add sauce to pasta and cauliflower. Add ham, peas and onion, and stir through. Spoon evenly among ovenproof dishes.
5.Combine breadcrumbs, parmesan and chilli, sprinkle over top of pasta mixture.
6.Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden. Serve hot.
