Method
1.Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat, cook onion and bacon slices, stirring, until onion softens.
2.Add the water, bacon bones, paste, potato, pumpkin and cauliflower, bring to the boil. Reduce heat, simmer, covered, for 50 minutes.
3.Remove and discard bacon bones. Using potato masher, roughly crush vegetables.
4.Add cabbage, carrot, beans, zucchini and pasta, simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes or until pasta is tender. Season to taste.
