Sang choy bow

Popular in Southeast Asia, sang choy bow can be made with all types of mince. The folk at recipes+ have chosen chicken here, and flavoured it with the traditional spices loved by all.

Ingredients

Method

1.Combine stock. cornflour and sauces in a small jug.
2.Heat a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Add oil: swirl to coat. Add garlic, ginger and mince. Stir-fry for 5 minutes, breaking up lumps, or until mince is well browned.
3.Add water chestnuts and sauce mixture. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, or until sauce thickens. Remove from heat. Add onions and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
4.Place lettuce leaves (see notes) on plates. Fill with mince mixture. Drizzle with hoisin sauce. Top with radish and coriander. Serve immediately.

To make lettuce cups , use sharp scissors to trim the outer edge of the lettuce leaves.
