Method

1.Combine mince, breadcrumbs, onion, curry paste, egg white, coriander and chickpeas in a large bowl. Shape into 12 patties. Place on a plate. Cover with plastic wrap; chill for 15 minutes.
2.Preheat a lightly oiled barbecue plate to moderate. Add patties; cook for 5 minutes on each side or until browned and cooked. Transfer to a heatproof plate. Cover with foil to keep warm.
3.Meanwhile, spray both sides of pita bread with oil. Cook and turn for 1-2 minutes or until browned.
4.Place pita bread on plates. Top with lettuce, patties and chutney. Serve with lemon wedges.

Process 2 slices of white bread for 1 cup of crumbs.
