Method
1.In a medium bowl, whisk flour and beer together until smooth; season to taste.
2.Heat oil in a large, heavy-based saucepan on high, until a drop of batter sizzles immediately it is added.
3.Dip fish into batter, a few pieces at time, allowing excess to drip off. Carefully lower into oil.
4.Cook fish in two batches, 4-5 minutes each batch, until cooked through and golden brown. Drain on paper towel.
5.Manwhile, to make tartare sauce, in a small bowl, combine all ingredients; season to taste.
6.Fill turkish bread with fish fillets, tomato slices and rocket. Spoon tartare sauce over and serve hot.
