Method

1.Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced). Line a 12-hole muffin pan with paper patty cases.
2.Using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar in a large bowl, until pale and creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla extract and mix until combined.
3.Fold in flour and milk alternately, beginning and ending with flour. Fill prepared cases and bake for 15-20 minutes, until a skewer inserted comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
4.Dollop cream on each cupcake and top with strawberries. Dust with icing sugar.
