Method
1.Preheat oven to moderately slow 160°C. Lightly grease and line 2 oven trays with baking paper.
2.In a large bowl, beat butter, icing sugar, limoncello and zest until pale and creamy. Beat in combined sifted flours until just combined.
3.Roll 1 level tablespoon of mixture at a time between floured hands. Arrange, 3cm apart, on trays. Flatten slightly using floured fork.
4.Bake 15-20 minutes. Cool on tray 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
5.Meanwhile, to make filling, in a bowl beat butter until pale and creamy. Beat in remaining ingredients until smooth.
6.Spread over half biscuits and sandwich together with remaining halves.
