1.Preheat grill (broiler).
2.Lightly spray a large frying pan with oil; cook onion over medium heat, stirring, for 1 minute. Add asparagus; cook, stirring, 2 minutes.
3.Meanwhile, combine eggs, egg whites and cheese in a medium jug. Pour over asparagus mixture in pan. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat, for about 5 minutes or until frittata is browned underneath.
4.Place pan under grill for about 5 minutes or until frittata is set.
5.Combine remaining ingredients in a medium bowl; serve frittata with salad.
If your frying pan does not have a heatproof handle, cover the handle with a couple of layers of aluminium foil to protect it from the heat of the grill. Serve frittata with one piece of grilled ciabatta; this will add 329kJ (79 cal) to each serve. Frittata is delicious warm, but if you want to take it to work, keep it in the fridge, then wrap it in plastic the next morning.
