Ingredients

Method

1.Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2.Prepare vanilla pudding according to packet directions, using cream in place of milk (see Notes) Chill.
3.Cut pastry sheet into 16 squares. Arrange on prepared tray. Bake for 10 minutes, until puffed and golden. Cool completely.
4.Spread pudding thickly over 8 pastry squares. Top with a second square. Dust with icing sugar to serve.

To give a firmer result, we used 600ml cream, not 700ml as instructed on pudding packet directions. Makes 8
