Fruity turnovers

These crispy golden fruity turnovers are easy to make and perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth in no time at all. Packed full of juicy strawberries, apples, pears and bananas, these pastry triangles can be enjoyed fresh out of the oven with a dusting of icing sugar.

Ingredients

Method

1.Preheat oven to 220°C (200°C fan-forced). Line two baking trays with baking paper.
2.Combine banana and strawberry in a bowl. Combine apple, pear and honey in another bowl.
3.Cut each pastry sheet into eight triangles. Place 1/2 tablespoon of strawberry mixture on one side of half of triangles, leaving edges free. Brush edges with water and fold to enclose. Repeat with remaining pastry and apple mixture. Place triangles onto trays. Brush pastry with egg, sprinkle with caster sugar. Bake 10 minutes, until puffed and golden. Serve dusted with icing sugar.
