Method

1.Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a square (20cm) cake pan and line base with non-stick baking paper.
2.Melt chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of gently simmering water (ensure bowl does not touch water), stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
3.Place raisins in a bowl and cover with boiling water. Microwave on high (1200 watts/100%) 2 minutes. Stand 5 minutes.
4.Sift flour and baking powder into a large bowl, then mix in sugar and pecans. Stir in chocolate and raisins with water.
5.Combine milk and egg, then add to mixture, stirring until combined. Spread into prepared cake pan and bake 20-25 minutes, until just firm to touch. Cut into fingers or squares and cool in pan. Dust with icing sugar and cocoa to serve.
