Mummy skewers

These delicious and satisfying mummy skewers are the perfect snacks for this Halloween!

Ingredients

Method

1.Preheat oven to moderate, 180C. Line an oven tray with baking paper.
2.Cook sausages in a large frying pan on medium, 5-6 minutes, turning until browned all over. When cool enough to handle, thread each sausage onto a skewer.
3.Cut mountain bread into 5mm lengthways strips. Roughly wrap strips around sausages and arrange on tray.
4.Spray with oil. Bake 10-12 minutes, until bread is golden and crisp. Serve with tomato sauce for dipping.

We used a 680g packet of sausages. If you use decorative skewers, bake the sausages before threading onto skewers.
