1.Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2.Place onion, egg, lentils, carrot, breadcrumbs, curry powder and coriander in a large bowl. Season. Using hands, mix well. Shape into 16 equal patties. Roll in sesame seeds, then place on prepared tray. Bake for 20 minutes or until browned and firm.
3.Meanwhile, combine yogurt and extra coriander in a small bowl. Season. Cover with plastic food wrap; chill until required.
4.Heat a char-grill pan over moderate heat. Cook bread for 1-2 minutes each side or until lightly browned and crisp. Spread bread with half the yogurt mixture; top with patties. Serve with remaining yogurt mixture and salad.
