1.Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Lightly grease and line a 20cm square cake pan with baking paper.
2.In a large bowl, combine spread and eggs, whisking to combine. Stir in combined sifted flour and cinnamon, then nuts. Pour mixture into pan.
3.Bake for 15-20 minutes. Cool completely in pan. Dust with cocoa, if you like. Cut into squares to serve. Store in an airtight container.
The brownies will be quite soft when first removed from the oven, so always cool completely in the pan before slicing. It is important to sift the flour to remove lumps or any foreign particles. This step also incorporates air. Remember to lightly stir it into the liquid mixture for best results.
