Method
1.Preheat oven to moderate, 180°C. Lightly grease and line a deep 18cm round cake pan with baking paper.
2.Cream butter and sugar together in mixing bowl until pale and creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
3.Fold in flour alternately with milk until well combined. Spread mixture into pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Turn onto wire rack.
4.Brush with extra melted butter, then sprinkle with combined cinnamon and extra sugar while still hot. Serve warm.
