Chocolate drizzeled honeycomb
1.Line cake tin with baking paper.
2.Place sugar, golden syrup, honey and water in saucepan over medium heat. Bring mixture to the boil for 10 minutes or until begining to darken in colour, stirring occasionally. Turn heat off.
3.Working quickly sieve bicarb into mixture and whisk well to combine.
4.Pour into lined tin and set aside for 2 hours to cool and harden. When honeycomb has set, remove baking paper and break into bite-size pieces. Place onto clean sheet of baking paper.
5.Break chocolate and place in jug or bowl. Pop in the microwave on medium heat for 1 minutes. Stir and continue to heat in 30 second intervals until melted, stirring in between.
6.Drizzle generous spoonfuls of melted chocolate over honeycomb pieces and allow to set.
7.Serve with ice-cream for an extra indulgent dessert.
The easiest way to clean the saucepan and utensils after making the honeycomb is to fill the pan with water and place on the heat for about 5 minutes.
