Ingredients
Method
1.Preheat oven to 170°C.Line a baking tray (or 2) withbaking paper.
2.Cream the butter, sugar and condensed milk until light and fluffy. Sift in the flour and baking powder, then add the chocolate drops and lime zest. Mix to combine – it will be a stiff, lumpy dough.
3.Roll into large walnut-sized pieces and place on a tray with space around each. Flatten with your palm (or a floured fork) and bake for 15-20 minutes until just browning on the edges. Cool on a wire rack.
4.Gently warm the white chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over (but not touching) boiling water until just melted (see note). Add the milk, if needed, to loosen.
5.Drizzle on the cool biscuits and scatter over the zest.
6.Store in an airtight container.
Chocolate can “seize” when melting. If this happens, add a little milk or cream to loosen it.
