Ingredients

Method

1.Preheat oven to 200°C. Lightly grease and line four baking trays with baking paper.
2.Into a large bowl, sift combined flours and cocoa. Stir in sugars. Add chocolate, nuts, butter, egg, yolk and vanilla. Mix well.
3.Roll heaped tablespoons of mixture into balls. Arrange on trays, 4cm apart. Flatten slightly with a fork.
4.Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until firm. Cool on trays. Serve with iced chocolate, if liked.

To make an iced chocolate, mix 1 1/2 tablespoons chocolate topping with 1 cup cold milk. Add a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, top with whipped cream and dust with cocoa.
