Method

1.Preheat oven to 200°C. Heat oil in a large frying pan on high. Saute onion and garlic for 1-2 minutes until tender.
2.Add vegetables and cook, stirring, for 1-2 minutes. Mix in braised steak and onion and season to taste. Simmer for 3 minutes. Stir basil through.
3.Spoon into four 1 1/2 cup oven-proof dishes (or 1 large casserole dish).
4.Melt butter in a frying pan on high. Saute leek 4-5 minutes until tender. Remove from heat. Stir in potato. Spoon over meat in the oven-proof dishes and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until bubbling and golden.

We used frozen mixed vegetables containing peas, corn, beans and carrot.
