Method
1.Preheat barbecue flat plate to moderately high. Add walnuts; cook and stir for 1 minute or until lightly browned. Transfer to a large heatproof bowl.
2.Heat a barbecue grill to medium. Spray apple with oil. Add to grill; cook and turn for 1-2 minutes or until apple has browned.
3.Combine apple, cabbage, juice and mayonnaise with walnuts. Season. Serve salad sprinkled with cranberries and capers.
Try slicing the cabbage on a V-slicer or using a food processor fitted with the slicing blade.
