Chinese meatballs

With celery, cabbage and sweet chilli sauce these Chinese meatballs show that you don't have to be European to make these bite-sized treats.

Ingredients

Method

1.Heat oil in a large frying pan on medium. Saute onion 3-4 minutes. until tender. Transfer onion to a large bowl with all remaining ingredients. Mix well and season to taste.
2.Using floured hands, roll tablespoonfuls of mixture into balls.
3.Heat oil in a large frying pan on high, until a cube of bread sizzles as soon as it is added. Shallow-fry meatballs, in 2 batches, 6-8 minutes, turning, until cooked through. Drain on paper towel. Serve hot or cold with sweet chilli sauce for dipping.

Make these ahead and put them in the fridge until ready to cook.
