Beef stir-fry with mixed mushrooms and sesame seeds

Method

1.In a bowl, toss beef with pepper. Set aside.
2.In a wok or large frying pan, heat half the oil on high. Stir-fry beef in 2 batches for 1-2 minutes each until browned. Remove from pan and set aside.
3.In same wok, heat remaining oil. Stir-fry onion, ginger and garlic for 1-2 minutes until tender. Add mushrooms and capsicum. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until just tender. Stir in combined wine and sauces. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
4.Return beef to pan with sesame oil. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes to heat through. Serve on a bed of rice, topped with onion and sesame seeds.
  • We used a mixture of oyster, shiitake and button mushrooms.
