Method

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
2.Cream together the butter and sugar then sift in the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt and combine well. Add the All Bran and gently mix in.
3.Place dessertspoonfuls of the mixture on the baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 13-15 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside to cool on the tray.
4.Meanwhile, for the topping, place chocolate in a double boiler, or a clean bowl sitting over a pan containing a small amount of water set over a medium heat. Stir the chocolate as it starts to melt, then once it has nearly all melted remove from the heat – be careful not to let any steam near the chocolate, or it might seize. Stir the melted chocolate briskly until it is glossy. Spread a small spoonful on top of each biscuit, then top each with a pinch of the All Bran. Leave the chocolate to set before eating.
