Cauliflower and ham pasta bake

With the combination of cheese, cauliflower and ham, this pasta bake recipe is a winning family dinner. Plus, it freezes well too

Method

1.In a large saucepan of boiling salted water, cook pasta for 5 minutes. Add cauliflower to saucepan and cook for a further 5-7 minutes until pasta is tender.
2.Drain, then transfer pasta and cauliflower to a 12-cup baking dish. Add combined sour cream, cream, cheese and parsley. Mix well and season to taste.
3.For topping: In a bowl, mix all topping ingredients together. Sprinkle over pasta.
4.Allow pasta to cool, cover with plastic wrap and freeze (see tip) or continue as directed in Step 5.
5.Preheat oven to 200°C. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbling.

Thaw frozen pasta bake in the fridge overnight before baking. Or to cook from frozen, bake covered with foil for 20 minutes, then uncover and cook as instructed.
