Ingredients
125 gram butter, softened
1/2 cup caster sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1.25 cup self-raising flour, sifted
1 tablespoon milk
3 x 50g snickers bars, chopped, plus extra to serve
ice cream, chocolate sauce to serve
Sauce
1 cup boiling water
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cocoa
Method
1. Preheat oven to moderate, 180°C. Lightly grease a 5-cup oven-proof dish.
2. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar together until creamy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then the vanilla.
3. Fold flour into creamed mixture alternately with milk. Fold Snickers through and spoon into dish.
Sauce
4. In a jug, combine all the ingredients. Pour over cake mixture.
5. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and risen. Serve pudding with extra chopped Snickers, ice cream and chocolate sauce.
