Method
1.Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced). Lightly grease a shallow 1.25-litre (5-cup) square ovenproof dish.
2.Reserve 1/3 cup cheese. Place half the bread on a chopping board. Spread mustard over slices. Top with ham, remaining cheese and remaining bread. Cut sandwiches into quarters. Arrange the quarters upright in prepared dish.
3.In a large jug, whisk egg, cream and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Pour over bread in prepared dish. Sprinkle with reserved cheese. Bake 25 minutes or until golden and set. Serve with salad.
Bread absorbs liquid on standing.
