Method
1.Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a sandwich tin with baking paper.
2.Mix the base ingredients in a bowl and tip into the prepared tin. Using the back of a spoon to smooth, evenly press the mixture onto the lined base. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden, then cool.
3.For the topping, melt the chocolate with the cream, whisking until smooth. Cool until warm.
4.Pour the chocolate over base. Sprinkle over the chopped chocolate eggs. Leave to set before slicing.
Note
- Makes one 20cm x 30cm tray. – Try this with chopped marshmallow eggs and roasted almonds instead of caramel eggs.
