Method

1.Lightly grease a baking tray. Sprinkle yeast over combined water, milk and oil in a jug. Stand for 5 minutes, until foamy. Sift flour and salt into a large bowl.
2.Pour yeast mixture into flour. Mix to a soft dough. Turn out on a lightly floured board. Knead for 10 minutes, until dough is smooth and elastic.
3.Place in a lightly greased bowl. Cover with a tea towel. Stand in a warm place until doubled in size (about 45 minutes). Preheat oven to 200°C.
4.Punch down dough with fist to release gas. Knead for a few minutes. Divide dough into 16 even pieces. Knead each piece until smooth. Shape into balls. Place close together on tray. Cover with a tea towel. Stand in a warm place until doubled in size (about 30 minutes).
5.Brush tops with egg and sprinkle with seeds. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until rolls sound hollow when tapped. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
