Method

1.Preheat oven to 200°C. Lightly grease a 2-litre oval casserole dish. Spoon bolognese into dish.
2.In a medium saucepan, bring combined milk and water to a simmer. Gradually pour in polenta, whisking constantly to prevent any lumps forming. Cook for 4-5 minutes, whisking until very thick. Stir in cheddar and remove from heat. Season.
3.Spread polenta over bolognese in dish, then crumble over blue cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes until polenta starts to turn golden brown. Sprinkle with chives to serve.
  • For a vege hit, add 1 cup thawed frozen peas and corn or 1 small head broccoli cut into small florets.
