1.Combine sesame seeds and rolled oats in a frying pan; toast on medium heat 5 minutes, shaking pan frequently, until lightly browned. Remove from pan; cool. Mix well with sugar.
2.In a bowl, gently combine yoghurt and mascarpone until smooth. Stir through chopped ginger.
3.Meanwhile, divide cherries between four serving bowls or glasses. Spoon over yoghurt mixture; sprinkle with sesame seed and oat topping. Serve immediately.
