1.Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced). Grease a 20cm (base diameter) spring form pan with removable base.
2.Reserve 1 teaspoon of the sugar. Whisk eggs and remaining sugar in a bowl until light and creamy. Add milk and oil; whisk until combined. Add apple and strawberry; stir to combine. Sift flours and 1 teaspoon of the cinnamon over egg mixture, returning any husks to the bowl; stir until combined.
3.Spoon mixture into prepared pan; level surface. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden and a skewer inserted at centre comes out clean. Cool in pan for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Sprinkle with combined reserved sugar and remaining cinnamon. Serve with extra strawberries.
Cake is best made on the day of serving.
