Note
- For a special breakfast treat or a sneaky dessert, served with a touch of yoghurt, cream or ice cream. – The flavour of dark red tamarillos can be quite tart. If you see some golden tamarillos, try them – the flavour is a little more mellow and mild. They are often available later in the season and are orange in colour.
