Method
1.Cut 4 x 3cm-thick slices from bread (reserve leftover bread for another use). Cut a deep pocket into one side of each piece of bread (not all the way through). Spread pockets with chocolate spread. Fill with banana.
2.Whisk eggs and milk in a shallow bowl.
3.Melt 20g of butter in a small frying pan on medium heat. Dip a filled piece of bread into milk mixture and turn to coat. Cook for l-2 minutes each side, until golden brown and heated through. Transfer to a plate. Cut in half diagonally.
4.Repeat with remaining sandwiches and milk mixture, reheating pan and melting remaining butter between each toastie when necessary. Dust toasties with icing sugar and serve.
