Ingredients: 30 millilitre sipsmith vodka; 30 millilitre lemon juice; 15 millilitre cocchi americano aperitif wine; 1 tablespoon breakfast marmalade; 2 dashes regans’ orange bitters; ice; soda; lemon twist, to garnish

Method

1.Add vodka, lemon juice, Cocchi Americano, marmalade and bitters to a cocktail shaker and shake hard with ice.

2.Fill a highball glass with ice and strain over the drink. Top up with soda and garnish with lemon twist.

To peel the citrus twist, take a sharp paring knife and slice a long piece of peel around the fruit, being careful not to get any pith as this will bitter the flavour. Lay the peel pith-side up on a chopping board and gently slice away any white that remains. Curl the twist around in a circular motion and express the essential oils out of the peel over the drink then place the twist on top to garnish.
