Method

Pizza dough recipe

1.Mix the dry ingredients with water to make a soft dough.

2.In a food processor, put in all of the sauce ingredients and pulse. Set aside.

Easy kids’ pizza recipe

3.Preheat oven to 250°C. Take one-third of the dough and roll very thinly onto a floured surface. Put on an oven tray.
4.Spread with one-third of the tomato sauce, then one-third of the capsicum, mushrooms and ham. Sprinkle ½ cup cheese on top.
5.Cook for about 10 minutes. Repeat with the rest of the dough. Keep a watch while the pizza bakes. It is ready when the cheese is sizzling and the base is cooked – about 15 minutes. Making three separate pizzas is easier to handle than one large one.
  • Makes 3 dinner plate size pies. – The sauce is very handy to have and it freezes well should you want to double it. It can be stirred through pasta too. – This is easy for children to make and cooking for the family gives them so much satisfaction.
