Beetroot Sauce
Method
1.In a bowl, combine oil and seasoning. Add steaks, turning to coat. Cover and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
2.For the beetroot sauce, combine all ingredients in a bowl. Season to taste.
3.Heat a frying pan on medium. Fry steaks for 2-3 minutes each side for medium. Transfer to a plate. Rest, covered with foil, for 5 minutes. Slice when ready to serve.
4.Top roll bases with lettuce, tomato, sliced lamb, beetroot sauce and onion, finishing with roll tops. Serve with fries and remaining beetroot sauce.
If you don’t have Greek seasoning, make your own by combining garlic, oregano, rosemary and dill.
