Ingredients
250 gram round green beans
2 tablespoon rice bran or canola oil
2 clove garlic, sliced
2 centimetre knob of fresh ginger, thinly sliced
2 teaspoon miso paste
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoon sesame seeds, lightly toasted
Method
1. Bring a saucepan of water to boil and cook the beans for 2 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat, drain well and set aside.
2. Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium-high heat and add the beans, along with the garlic and ginger.
3. Stir the miso paste into the soy sauce and add to the pan, tossing to coat the beans. Cook for 2 minutes until the beans are just tender.
4. Serve the beans with a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.
