Method
1.Remove bones and rind from pork. Cut meat into 2-3cm pieces.
2.Place sugar and 1/4 cup water in a wok or large frying pan over low heat. Cook, stirring, 2-3 minutes, or until sugar dissolves. Increase heat. Boil gently 4-5 minutes, or until sauce has thickened slightly.
3.Add pork, onion, ketjap manis, fish sauce, pepper and 1 cup water to sauce. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer, covered, 10 minutes. Uncover. Simmer, 15 minutes or until pork is glazed and sticky. Season with salt.
4.Meanwhile, place noodles in a large heatproof bowl. Cover with boiling water. Stand 5 minutes or until softened. Drain.
5.Add noodles and vegetables to work. Stir-fry 2 minutes, or until hot. Spoon into shallow bowls. Serve at once.
