Spicy apple and blackberry crumble

Method

1.Preheat oven to 160°C. Rub flour, almonds, brown sugar, spices and butter together to form crumbs.
2.Bring wine, apple juice, calvados, sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon to the boil then add apples. Cover and return to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove lid and simmer for 5 more minutes to reduce liquid. Remove from heat and add berries.
3.Remove quill, spoon fruit into 6 oven-proof dishes (or 1 large dish) and top with crumble. Bake on lowest shelf for 30-40 minutes, or until crust is golden.
4.Dust with icing sugar and serve with vanilla ice-cream and runny cream.
