Rotten apples
1.Preheat oven to moderately slow, 160C.
2.Cut tops from apples and set aside. Remove core using an apple corer. Discard.
3.Sift flour and cinnamon together into a small bowl. Rub in butter, then mix in remaining ingredients.
4.Place apples in a baking dish. Spoon crumble mixture into cavities. Brush skin with extra butter. Place lids on top.
5.Bake 20-25 minutes until crumble is golden apples are tender.
Crush biscuits, in a snap lock bag, wrapped into tea towel. Place on a board and pound with a rolling pin.
