Oh, my goodness. Oh, my very goodness. This homemade Irish creme liqueur makes a wonderful and unique Christmas gift. But be warned, you may not want to give it away.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon instant coffee granules

1 tablespoon boiling water

1 1/2 tablespoon chocolate flavoured topping

350 millilitre irish whiskey

1 3/4 cup (460ml) cream

395 gram can condensed milk

1 egg

1 teaspoon coconut essence

Method

1.Dissolve coffee in the water in a large jug, stir in topping.

2.Whisk in remaining ingredients. Strain mixture into cooled sterilised bottles, seal immediately.

3.Store liqueur in refrigerator for up to 6 months.
