Ingredients

Method

1.Preheat oven to 180C. Beat butter and sugar until pale and creamy. Add egg and mix well.
2.Add golden syrup and mixed dry ingredients along with crystallised ginger.
3.Roll into balls about the size of a walnut and place on a cold oven tray – do not flatten.
4.Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until dark golden.
