Moerlando ‘Big Moe’ Cason’s barbecuing prowess has taken him from Iowa all the way to Auckland’s first Meatstock festival.
Having competed in roughly 250 competitions across 35 states in the U.S, this self-taught pitmaster knows a thing or two about cooking a good barbecue.
Big Moe was a fan favourite on the reality series BBQ Pitmasters, appearing as both a judge and a finalist on the BBQ competition show.
Big Moe met up with Food to Love to talk about his must-know hacks, favourite cuts and shared his thoughts on how we Kiwis barbecue.
