Tasty cheese and herb biscuits

It’s impossible to eat just one of these deliciously cheesy, shortbread-like biscuits!

Ingredients

Method

1.Preheat oven to 180˚C.
2.Combine flour, baking powder, salt, chilli powder and herbs in a food processor, pulsing until fine crumbs form.
3.Next, add the butter, lemon juice and cheese, pulsing until the mixture starts to clump up.
4.Transfer to a clean surface and roll into a firm cylinder, about 5cm in diameter and 20cm long.
5.Wrap the log in cling film and chill for at least 30 minutes.
6.Slice the dough into ½ cm rounds and arrange on a baking tray lined with cooking paper.
7.Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden, then transfer to a wire rack after 5 minutes.
8.Once cold, store in an air-tight container.
