Method
Fairy pancakes shapes
1.Sift flour into a large bowl. Stir in sugar.
2.In a jug, whisk milk, eggs and butter together. Gradually add to flour mixture, whisking until smooth. Cover and set aside for 15 minutes.
3.Heat a non-stick frying pan on medium. Brush pan with a little extra butter. Pour 1/3 cup batter into pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until bubbles start to appear on surface. Turn and cook for a further 1-2 minutes, until golden. Repeat with remaining batter. Cool. Using 6cm cutters of choice, cut shapes from pancakes.
4.TOPPING: Spread butter over cooled pancake shapes. Dip into hundreds-and-thousands to decorate.
