Ingredients

Method

1.Combine garlic and half of the oil in medium bowl; add steaks, rub both sides with mixture.
2.Separate lettuce leaves; halve 12 of the smallest leaves crossways.
3.Heat remaining oil in large non-stick frying pan; cook onion, stirring constantly, about 10 minutes or until onion is slightly caramelised. Remove from pan.
4.Cook steaks, uncovered, in same pan until cooked as desired. Cover steaks; stand 5 minutes. Cut each steak into four even pieces.
5.Preheat grill. Cut 24 slices from french stick; toast until browned lightly one side.
6.Sandwich lettuce, steaks, onion, pickle and chutney between slices of toast.
