Chocolate crepes

Indulgent and fluffy chocolate crepes - the all-round perfect and elegant dessert! To make an intensely rich dessert, layer a few fresh berries with whipped cream and grated chocolate.

Ingredients

Method

1.Sift flour into a medium bowl. Stir in sugar. Make a well in the centre of dry ingredients.
2.Gradually whisk in combined milk and eggs to form a smooth batter the consistency of pouring cream. Whisk in chocolate. Set aside.
3.Heat a small frying pan (or crepe pan) on medium. Brush with a little butter. Pour 1/4 cup batter into pan, swirling to cover base. Cook for 1-2 minutes each side. Transfer to a plate. Continue with remaining batter, brushing pan with butter as required.
4.Serve crepes folded, topped with cream, berries and a little grated chocolate.

Makes 8 If you like, drizzle with a little chocolate sauce. In a small saucepan, melt 1/2 cup cream with 1/3 cup chocolate pieces, stirring well.
