Queenstown, Christchurch, Wellington – it seemed every major city in New Zealand had experienced a taste of the hugely popular Night Noodle Markets except Auckland. So we when heard it was finally coming to the City of Sails, we were understandably very excited (and very hungry).

The five-day event rolled into the central city just in time for the official start of summer and has transformed Victoria Park into the ultimate destination for serious snacking, drinking and relaxing.

With 20 vendors hawking everything from Peking duck to steaming hot chai, no craving will go unsatisfied.

Pick up some dumplings from the heaving House of Dumplings stand, grab an icy Tiger from the bar and settle in to watch some top notch cultural performances.

Food pricing ranges from $5 – $15, with cash and EFTPOS both accepted.
